Moving On…

I know it’s been a while since I’ve posted, but moving has been…an interesting experience. I have made no secret about my feelings toward California, so I am very glad to be out. I left the dispassionate crowds, 9% unemployment rate, unfathomably high cost of living, slews of homeless reaching for my wallet, along with many other distasteful things California had to offer.

Texas has welcomed me with friendly neighbors, a 5% unemployment rate, low cost of living, no homeless people (at least none near where I live), and a sense of belonging.

This move was worth the trouble it took to get here, including the three day road trip with three cats in the car.
