I have a binder full of handwritten, printed, stained and torn recipes that I have used for years. Many of these recipes are absolutely amazing. Some are okay, others I probably haven't used in a while. My binder system is ancient at best, and I think it's time for me to upgrade. What better way to digitize my recipe library than to share these treats with everyone else?
Keep in mind, these are my own personal recipes. Not everything is perfectly traditional. For example; my recipe for Galub Jamun (an Indian dessert) comes out more like a doughnut hole, doesn't have a filling, and I tend to serve mine warm rather than chilled (because I like it better that way). All of which is not 'traditional'.
My best recipes tend to be desserts, but I have several savory recipes that are amazing. My feta stuffed onions are awesome and my husband wants to start a fan club for my meatloaf. The first recipe I will be posting is a family recipe for butter cookies that has been passed down for generations, so these cookies carry the love of hundreds of moms and grandmoms.
